The project site was accessible by helicopter only, all equipment and personnel was flown direct from Nanaimo to the site.  Turner &  Associates provided all surveying required for construction of the new bridge, including placement of abutments, guy wires, and calculation of concrete volumes.  This was a complex project with logistical challenges only experienced with remote sites.
